Little Wonders Musical Adventure for Hullabaloo in the Park, Theatre Hullabaloo, Darlington
Working with my best friend and award winning composer, songwriter, teacher and performer, Bridie Jackson, we created a musical treasure map for the smallest of children to explore the park in a musical, hide-and-seek journey, with a little help from their grownups.

Using simple technology of a MP3 player and watch speaker, or a download to your phone, our creative trail experience encouraged young children to discover the park and the hidden spaces within. Children used all of their senses to explore the space, guided by original songs that gave them clues, instructions and inspiration. They were then able to share their finds and treasures with us all online!
Unsung Heroes Project - Queen's Hall Arts, Hexham
Last year, Queen's Hall Arts Hexham commissioned international multimedia artists Davy & Kristin McGuire and North East singer-songwriter Bridie Jackson to create Unsung Heroes - a brand new augmented reality gig co-created with the local community to celebrate people who have made a difference during the pandemic.
After receiving lots of nominations for your Unsung Heroes, Bridie wrote five beautiful songs which have been recorded by North East musicians Kate Gessey, Carol and Gary Bowden, Aukestra with Lesley Roley, Leon Fussell and Ian Brown. They were then filmed by Flashlight Films in front of a green screen at the Queen's Hall and the McGuires used the footage to create an app so audiences can experience a ‘mini gig’ wherever they are by pointing their camera phone at a postcard which will make the musicians pop up to perform the songs.
Unsung Heroes is part of Here and Now, a national and local celebration of culture within communities supported by Arts Council England and Future Arts Centres.
